ABV rock group co. registered and started a branch in Saudi in 1974, with the Jeddah head office and a Yanbu branch office.

In the mid-1980s, Saudi Arabia’s government agreed to introduce a national Strategic Storage Program and the execution was awarded to ABV Rock Group Kb. The Saudi Strategic Storage Program, SSSP, started in 1987 and was completed after 22 years later, in 2010.

As the Saudi Strategic Storage Program was reaching completion, the company ABV Rock Group Ltd was licensed in the General Contracting sector for an initial term of 20 years.

Today ABV Rock Group is carrying out a number of projects at the University of King Saud and other places in and around Riyadh.

MOI- King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Medical Complex:

The 1,300 km2 healthcare infrastructure project, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Medical Complexes in Saudi Arabia becomes one of the highest-profile projects at present. As per ProTenders, work on the scheme began in January 2013 and the scale of the project includes constructing one medical city in Riyadh and Jeddah each.

Construction work on Jeddah Security Forces Medical City is underway as of 1st April 2019, for which ABV Rock Group is operating as its main contractor. The firm is also working on Riyadh Security Forces Medical City in a similar capacity.

The Medical City of the Riyadh Security Forces comprises three hospital buildings, and education and clinical centers, research centers, mental health specialist clinics, and a gynecology and obstetrics hospital. The Peikko Group is identified by ProTenders as the concrete supplier of precast materials for the project and the website places development at 87 percent on the 1,700-bed facility.

The P&T Architects & Engineers was selected to execute the Riyadh project’s architectural and structural design, and Linesight was chosen by the main contractor ABV to provide construction consultancy on cost management.

Three companies will produce the precast elements of the project, including Al Rashid Abetong, the concrete industries Rabiah-Nassar & Zamil, and RDB El Seif Limited.

Besides that, Medical City will have 1,864 beds in Jeddah Security Forces, which will have similar health facilities as its counterpart to Riyadh. Tahpi and Hyundai Elevator are listed in the list of project participants, which according to ProTenders as of 1st April 2019 was 74 percent complete.
