About Dar Al Riyadh:
The journey of Dar Al Riyadh began in the mid-’70s, at a time when the wealth and political power of Saudi Arabia took a new turn. Social and economic growth quickly took off, revolutionized the socioeconomic system and infrastructure of the country. It was around this time that the highly skilled and passionate engineer Prince Turki A Abdulrahman founded an engineering company under the name Dar Al Riyadh.
From over the past forty years, Dar Al Riyadh has grown into a highly integrated, value-added services firm with a focus on the value chain of engineering. Presently we employ over 3,500 employees, more than 1,500 of whom are trained engineers from around the world.
From our nationwide network of offices, Dar Al Riyadh serves client needs across the governmental and private sectors. Our areas of excellence represent all of the Kingdom’s key industries, from oil and gas to transportation, education, and healthcare, with a variety of value-added services including construction, project management, industrial systems, customer support, and geomatics.

Latest Projects in Dar Al Riyadh:
Smart city planning and geospatial services designed to build smart cities around the Kingdom. Dar Al Riyadh is currently implementing MOMRA’s first Smart Cities project to allow local governing authorities to use ICT to achieve the specific goals of enhancing their citizens’ quality of life and sustainable economic growth. These goals can be accomplished by enhanced service delivery, more effective use of resources (human, infrastructure, and natural), and policies that promote economic growth that is financially and environmentally sustainable.
The Duty of Dar Al Riyadh is to benchmark all Kingdom cities and conduct sampling based on worldwide acceptance across 90 + smartness indicators (measuring transportation options, waste management, energy efficiency, etc.)
Geomatics services & solutions Division of Dar Al Riyadh will share with MOMRA the results of the findings and advise them on how to create a smart city. After this stage is complete, local municipalities will be provided with a roadmap to direct them into becoming smart cities.
